The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The wide footprint of the ribbed tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design firmly grips the road surface in all conditions, while the special tire compound maintains the tires flexible traction even in colder temperatures.
The full depth siping detail further enhances the road gripping capability. The treads wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the tires footprint to effectively resist hydroplaning.
The maintained traction and exceptional hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure year round performance. The tread features a solid shoulder rib design that keeps the tires road contact at all times. This, along with the durable compound, lengthens the tires tread life. The solid shoulders constant road contact enables the tires footprint to evenly spread out the driving pressure on the tires footprint. The equally distributed forces of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively prevents the formation of irregular tread wear across the tread area.
The special durable tire compound is wear-resistant which slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The slower even tread wear guarantees an extended tread life and usability. The XZE features groove bottom protectors.
