This crucifix was carved in the Alps of Italy, in a region which is famous for its beautiful wood carvings! Native woods are used in these genuine, heirloom quality art pieces. Skilled artists paint the body of Jesus and the INRI plaque with fine oil paints. This crucifix is 18.5 inches in length. Each piece is unique as slight nuances in craftsmanship by the carver and painter may be noticeable. These crucifixes are brand new, just imported from Italy.
Both the corpus (body of Jesus) and the cross are made entirely of wood. Each crucifix will include a small certificate of authenticity.
